Alder Valley Brass is pleased to announce a special guest soloist for the band's showpiece concert in September.

The concert, Celebration 2012, at the Maltings in Farnham, Surrey, is to feature Matthew White, BBC Radio 2 "Young Brass Soloist of the Year" 2010 and now principal euphonium at the world-famous Cory Band of South Wales.

Matthew is a rising star in the euphonium world, a graduate of the Royal Northern College of Music and is described by world-renowned euphonium soloist and conductor, Bob Childs, as "the finest euphonium player of his generation."

The concert is on Saturday 15th September, 7:30pm, and tickets are priced at £10.00 (£8.00 concessions) from Farnham Maltings or direct from Alder Valley Brass postage-free.
